With now over 12 years experience in the Australian Radio Industry, James ‘Turbo' Anderson has worked with some of the largest radio networks in Australia and acheived his goal of hitting the number 1 position for official radio ratings in Melbourne for his afternoon show on Triple M in 2006.

Starting his commercial radio career hosting the breakfast show on Sun FM in central Victoria, James quickly gained enough on air experience and skills to attract the eye of program directors in the capital city market and was approached by Melbourne's Austereo Network (FoxFM / TripleM). After 2 trial shows, they asked James to join the Triple M team in a full time capacity.

Working every time slot possible, it didn't take long for James to work his way up to become the full time host of the Afternoon show on Melbourne's 105.1 Triple M, including 12 months of which were networked also through Triple M Sydney with a potential listening audience of 6 million people .

James was also the host of MCM Entertainment's ‘ Planet Rock'. A rock music radio show distributed to around 100 radio stations across Australia on a weekly basis to both regional stations and capital city radio.

MUSIC SPECIALS
In addition to his full time afternoon show, James has also put together music specials for the entire Triple M network with interviews and history on Greenday, REM, Coldplay, and many more. His productions have also included a 60 minute Led Zeppelin production by request Warner Music Australia. Not only did this special play the rare tracks, but also included never heard before interviews and information about the band.

James has also hosted a number of Outside Broadcasts since starting in the Radio Industry which has taken him to the streets in many different locations including the Murray River, The Great Ocean Road, Zoo's, Park's, Concert Venues and many more.

In June 2006, after reaching the top of the official radio ratings with a massive 16.7 % share of the Melbourne Market, James decided to leave his Number 1 Afternoon radio show to take some time off and travel the United States and Russia.
