Curata Storm won his Class 1 maiden race by a massive 13 lengths

He then went on to win the Mercedes Classic (now known as the BMW Classic) Group 1 race which is one of the highest Group 1 weight-for-age races in Australia.

Curata Storm beat a VERY classy field including Tie the Knot-Sky Heights-Freemason-Giovana-Hill of Grace. The field in this race had 16 Group 1 wins between them

Previous winners of this race include the Great Kingston Town, Bone Crusher, Octagonal and the greatest of all - Makybe Diva.

His full sister - Voile D'or winner of many Group 1 races including the South Australian Oaks and Western Australian Derby and won numerous other races from 1000 to 2500 mtrs.
