The
Yea district has a lot to offer anglers. Undoubtably the Goulburn
River with its cold irrigation waters, is the areas main trout
fishery, and attracts most of the anglers attention. The
Goulburn flows from the base of the Pondage at Eildon and passes
through the townships of Thornton, Alexandra, Molesworth &
Yea.
The
Murrindindi River on the outskirts of Yea is also an excellent
place to catch a fish. Maps of the area can be found at any of the
Information Centres within Murrindindi. The Yea Fishing Map will
show you all those hard to find places to fish.
Try
fly fishing for wild trout in Australia in pristine untouched
